A Sports Scholar’s Award.

We are delighted to announce that one of our Sports Scholars, Olivia in Lower V, has recently been awarded the  Jack Petchey Achievement Award by the Jack Petchey Foundation.  This is in recognition of her hard work, dedication and sporting achievements, and brings with it a financial reward for her athletics club.

The Jack Petchey Foundation says, ‘The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up to inspire and motivate young people across London and Essex by providing exciting projects and programmes for them to get involved in. We also recognise the outstanding achievements of today’s young people by awarding them for their hard work and positive impact in their community.’

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme recognises outstanding young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex.

Congratulations, Olivia, on this wonderful achievement.

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
