Interviewing on Fitbits

Thursday 21st September saw television cameras at St Augustine’s Priory when Sky News came to interview pupils on the use of Fitbits, the physical activity trackers which track how many steps are taken each day.

Sky News was covering a report by the University of Birmingham (https://techcrunch.com/2017/08/02/fitbit-turns-teens-off-exercising-study-finds/) concerning the use of Fitbits by 13-14 year olds.

They arrived and interviewed several girls from Form III and Lower V who use and wear Fitbits and were happy to help!

This is the third time that Sky News has come to film at St Augustine’s Priory and the producer who interviewed the girls, John-Paul Ford Rojas, was very impressed with how confident and articulate all the girls were!
