St George’s Day
Prep I celebrates
On Thursday 23rd April Prep I celebrated St George’s Day in style. Not only is St George patron saint of one of our school houses and patron saint of England he is also, among other countries, patron saint of Georgia, Portugal and Serbia.
Prep I celebrated St George’s Day by hearing his story and retelling it, Circle Time- talking about times when we have been brave like St George, eating strawberries and making St George’s flags.
