A Level Art Work

We are excited to announce that St Augustine’s Priory and the Freemen’s School, Ashtead are proud to be hosting the Society of Heads Art Exhibition to be held at the Livery Hall, Guildhall London, on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th January 2018.

You will remember that St Augustine’s Priory hosted this exhibition a couple of years ago at Ealing Town Hall.  It is a wonderful opportunity to view A Level art work from SOH member schools and we are delighted to be hosting this exhibition once more.

The Guildhall, in the City of London is a unique venue to be exhibiting the artwork, encompassing as it does over 800 years of London’s history. The exhibition of A Level work will be held in the Livery Hall, which is accessed via the Basinghall Street entrance.

There will be prizes awarded in four categories: Painting, Sculpture, Photography and Textiles and St Augustine’s Priory is delighted to exhibiting work in all four categories.  Twelve schools in total will be exhibiting, coming from as far afield as Luxembourg.

More news to follow shortly!

Strengthening Our Community: The Return of Boys to our Preps and Pre-Preps

We are excited to share that, from September 2026, boys will begin moving up from our Nursery into Reception, marking the gradual reintroduction of boys into our Prep and Pre-Prep School.

This step reflects growing interest from families who value our strong holistic ethos and unique grounds and setting and would like their sons and daughters to share their educational journey together.

At St Augustine’s, our strong sense of community, academic excellence, and deep care for each individual child remain at the heart of everything we do. This is a natural evolution of our school rather than a change to who we are, building on our strengths and allowing us to offer the same joyful, inspiring education to even more children.
