In Students’ Words
Lucia, one of several students with outstanding results at St Augustine’s Priory, who achieved all grade 9s in her eleven GCSEs, was delighted saying, “I’ve been at St Augustine’s Priory since Nursery and want to thank my teachers, I couldn’t have done it without them.” Lucia is now studying Chemistry, Physics and Maths A levels at St Augustine’s. Bella, who achieved all 8s and 9s, was delighted with her results and said that “besides working really hard, teachers knew just what it took to help me perform to the best of my ability’.
A level girls spoke of their delight at securing places at their first choice universities and their intentions to stay in touch with St Augustine’s Priory as Alumnae because it was ‘like a second home’. They added ‘yes, we worked hard but the support and encouragement was just what we needed’. Their advice to younger girls approaching Sixth Form was ‘take advantage of all the fantastic opportunities that St Augustine’s School provides’ and ‘work hard, it will be worth it’. Above all, the girls indicated how pleased they were for having chosen to progress to Priory Sixth at St Augustine’s after their GCSEs.
