Lower I and British Values

Posted: 21st April 2016

What does it mean to be British?

‘I do not like tea, it is disgusting!’  So states a member of Lower I in this ground-breaking video on what it means to be British, produced by the pupils and their teacher, Mrs Van Der Merwe.

The girls voice their support for the shared values of the rule of law, democracy, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of faiths and beliefs while dispelling the stereotypical myths of tea, football and fish and chips.

Already shared on twitter by The Good Schools Guide, the Independent Schools Council and Mumsnet Ealing, this video could well go viral!

If you have not already seen it, follow these links to our British Values video, a great example of the good sense, generosity and ability of all the pupils in Lower I. Please share on appropriate platforms if you can!
